The issue with Directions API, Distance Matrix API, Places API, Google Maps Platform, Maps APIs, Maps Embed API, Places API, Places API (New), Places Library, Maps JavaScript API, Places SDK for Android, Places SDK for iOS has been resolved for all affected projects as of Wednesday, 2024-02-14 08:42 US/Pacific.

Description: We are experiencing an issue with Maps Platform API using Geocoding or Place searches.

The impact may be as wide as Directions API, Distance Matrix API, Places API, Google Maps Platform, Maps APIs, Maps Embed API, Places API, Places API (New), Places Library, Maps JavaScript API, Places SDK for Android, Places SDK for iOS.

This began on Wednesday, 2024-02-14 between 03:00 and 03:41 US/Pacific.

A service rollback was attempted but did not fix the issue. Our engineering team is investigating other resolution paths.

We will provide an update by Wednesday, 2024-02-14 09:30 US/Pacific with current details.
