This incident with Google Maps Platform, Maps SDK for iOS was initially triggered by our internal monitoring systems.

Upon further investigation, our engineering teams believe that the scope is very limited and/or no customers were impacted.

Summary: Possible Current Production Issue - Google Maps Platform Maps SDK for iOS

Description: We are investigating a potential issue with Google Maps Platform Maps SDK for iOS.

We will provide more information by Thursday, 2023-09-21 17:31 US/Pacific.

Diagnosis: Chevron showing user location appears on a blank screen (i.e. blue or black depending on display mode).

Workaround: None at this time.
