Customers unable to see instances in the console

The issue with the Google Cloud Console not displaying Google Compute Engine Instances has been resolved for all affected users as of 16:30 US/Pacific. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to help prevent or minimize future recurrence.

How to diagnose: You may be affected by this issue if you navigate to list Google Compute Engine instances in the Google Cloud Console and instead see an empty list.

Workaround: Using gcloud to list and interact with your instances is a workaround.

for example: gcloud compute instances list; gcloud compute ssh instance-1
