[Investigating] Some Google SecOps customers in the US multi-region may experience high Search latency and delayed detections.

12 Aug 2026	17:11 PDT	Summary [Mitigated] Some Google SecOps customers in the US multi-region may have experienced high Search latency and delayed detections. Description: The issue with Google SecOps has been mitigated for all affected projects as of Wednesday, 2026-08-12 16:30 PDT. From preliminary analysis, transient network latency temporarily impacted platform search performance. Our engineers mitigated the issue by rerouting traffic around the impacted networking infrastructure. We continue to monitor system telemetry to ensure continued stability. We thank you for your patience while we worked on resolving the issue. Symptoms: Affected customers may have experienced high Search latency, potentially dropped queries, elevated Dashboards latency, and delayed detections. Workaround: No workarounds as the issue is mitigated.

Our engineers are actively investigating the root cause to isolate and mitigate the issue. We will provide more information by Wednesday, 2026-08-12 18:00 PDT with details.
