LookML validation failing due to tabbed dashboards feature

A fix for the tabbed dashboard preview feature has been identified and is expected to be rolled out over the next two weeks, at which point the feature can be re-enabled and any tabbed dashboards previously created will have their functionality and content restored.

We thank you for your patience while we worked to resolve this issue.

The tabbed dashboard feature has been temporarily disabled for all Looker Original customers while engineering teams work on resolving the issue. Any tabbed dashboard content will temporarily show content from the first tab only. An update will be provided by 2026-01-27 17:00 PST (2026-01-28 01:00 UTC).

Starting on 01-27-2026 at 12:53 UTC, some Looker Original customers began experiencing errors with their instances while attempting to use the tabbed dashboards feature introduced in Version 26.0. The problem is currently ongoing and engineers are working to disable this feature globally by 20:00 UTC.

In the meantime, impacted customers should be able to disable this feature via the Tabbed Dashboards toggle available in Admin > Labs.
