Description:

Assured Workloads Create Workload API experienced intermittent failures globally for a duration of 4 hours, 32 minutes. We initiated a rollback of recent changes and mitigated the issue. The full root cause is still under investigation.

Customer Impact:

Compliance regimes where Customer Managed Encryption Keys are optional or required were affected by intermittent failures when attempting to create new Assured Workloads.

Description: We are experiencing an intermittent issue with Assured Workloads CreateWorkload API beginning at Monday, 2023-07-17 11:00 US/Pacific.

Our engineering team continues to investigate the issue.

We will provide an update by Monday, 2023-07-17 14:52 US/Pacific with current details.

We apologize to all who are affected by the disruption.

Diagnosis: Customers attempting to create workloads for some compliance regimes are experiencing intermittent failures. Only the compliance regimes where customer managed encryption keys is considered optional or required are currently affected.

Workaround: None at this time.
