Description: We are experiencing an issue with Cloud Trace beginning at Wednesday, 2024-09-25.

Mitigation work is currently underway by our engineering team.

The mitigation is expected to complete by Friday, 2024-09-27 19:00 US/Pacific.

We will provide more information by Friday, 2024-09-27 19:30 US/Pacific.

Diagnosis: Customers who have enabled VPC Service Controls may experience

  • elevated error rates in API calls that write trace spans
  • fewer spans shown in the Cloud Trace UI
