Summary: We've received a report of an issue with Dataproc Metastore.

Description: We are experiencing an issue with Dataproc Metastore beginning at Wednesday, 2023-12-06 14:47 US/Pacific.

Our engineering team continues to investigate the issue and ascertain a mitigation to fix the issue.

We will provide an update by Wednesday, 2023-12-06 19:30 US/Pacific with current details.

We sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve it as quickly as possible.

Diagnosis: Customers would be unable to:-

  1. Create new DPMS instances.
  2. Update existing DPMS instances involving scaling config or tier updates.
  3. Perform full Restore of existing backups.
  4. Import metadata into DPMS Create Dataproc Metastore Federation APIs.

Workaround: There is no known workaround at this time.
