| 26 Mar 2024 | 15:00 PDT | Summary: [Cloud Build] Builds failing for new projects during default service account initialization Description: Mitigation work is currently underway by our engineering team. The mitigation work is taking more time than expected. We will provide more information by Tuesday, 2024-03-26 21:30 US/Pacific. Diagnosis: Users may experience Builds failing in new projects that does not have a default compute service account and haven't successfully completed a prior GCB build Workaround: ** If the project does not have a compute service account (i.e. PROJECT_NUM-compute@developer.gserviceaccount.com), the user may enable GCE API to add the service account and builds should work ** The user can run builds using logging option CLOUD_LOGGING_ONLY. |
