Incident affecting Google Cloud Console

Users trying to add API restrictions to an API key in Cloud Console may see an incomplete list of possible APIs to restrict their keys to.

Incident began at 2019-06-06 11:56 and ended at 2019-06-07 04:20 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with Cloud Console API restrictions has been resolved for all affected users as of Friday, 2019-06-07 03:27 US/Pacific. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to help prevent or minimize future recurrence.

Summary: Users trying to add API restrictions to an API key in Cloud Console may see an incomplete list of possible APIs to restrict their keys to.

Description: The engineering team is still in the process of rolling back a configuration change to mitigate this issue. Currently there is no estimate as to when this will be completed. We will provide another status update by Friday, 2019-06-07 06:00 US/Pacific with current details.

Diagnosis: If you are unable to see a complete list of possible APIs to restrict your keys to while trying to add API restrictions to an API key in Cloud Console, then you are affected by this issue.

Workaround: None at this time.
