Incident affecting Google Cloud SQL

We've received a report of an issue with Google Cloud SQL. Some customers are unable to connect to their CloudSQL Postgres instances.

Incident began at 2018-08-06 17:38 and ended at 2018-08-06 20:36 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with customers losing connections to their CloudSQL Postgres instances has been resolved for all affected users as of Monday, 2018-08-06 19:57 US/Pacific. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to help prevent or minimize future recurrence.

The issue with customers losing connections to their CloudSQL Postgres instances should be resolved for most of projects and we expect a full resolution in the near future. We will provide another status update by Monday, 2018-08-06 21:00 US/Pacific with current details.
