Incident affecting Google Cloud SQL

We've received a report of an issue with Google Cloud SQL. Some customers are unable to connect to their CloudSQL Postgres instances.

Incident began at 2018-08-06 17:38 and ended at 2018-08-06 20:36 (all times are US/Pacific).

Date	Time	Description
6 Aug 2018	20:36 PDT	The issue with customers losing connections to their CloudSQL Postgres instances has been resolved for all affected users as of Monday, 2018-08-06 19:57 US/Pacific. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to help prevent or minimize future recurrence.
6 Aug 2018	20:30 PDT	The issue with customers losing connections to their CloudSQL Postgres instances should be resolved for most of projects and we expect a full resolution in the near future. We will provide another status update by Monday, 2018-08-06 21:00 US/Pacific with current details.
