Incident affecting Chronicle Security

High normalization latency in the US multi-region.

The issue with Chronicle Security has been resolved for all affected customers as of Monday, 2024-03-25 17:54 US/Pacific.

Summary: High normalization latency in the US multi-region.

Description: Mitigation work is currently underway by our engineering team.

We do not have an ETA for mitigation at this point.

We will provide more information by Monday, 2024-03-25 21:00 US/Pacific.

Diagnosis: Customers are unable to view the latest ingested logs on the Chronicle UI. The customer will observe a delay of approximately 1 hour for normalization and logs will be only visible after the normalization.

Workaround: None at this time.

Our engineering team continues to investigate the issue.

We will provide an update by Monday, 2024-03-25 16:30 US/Pacific with current details.

Diagnosis: Customers are unable to view the latest ingested logs on the Chronicle UI. The customer will observe a delay of approximately 1 hour for normalization and logs will be only visible after the normalization.
