Description: Google AppSheet experienced elevated latency for a duration of 1 hour, 10 minutes. From preliminary analysis, the root cause of the issue is increased load on AppSheet's primary backend database resulting in resource contention which was mitigated by freeing up resources on the primary database.

Customer Impact: Customers may have seen an increase in error rate (spiked to around 15 percent of call volume) and an increase in latency. Both symptoms would have been present across most use cases, but especially during any interaction that required authentication or loading/updating customer applications.
