Incident affecting Chronicle Security

Some Chronicle Customers are unable to update their Chronicle configuration or setup GCP log ingestion.

Incident began at 2023-06-28 18:00 and ended at 2023-06-28 20:59 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with Chronicle Security has been resolved for all affected users as of Wednesday, 2023-06-28 20:50 US/Pacific.

We thank you for your patience while we worked on resolving the issue.

Summary: Some Chronicle Customers are unable to update their Chronicle configuration or setup GCP log ingestion.

Description: Mitigation work is currently underway by our engineering team.

We do not have an ETA for mitigation at this point.

We will provide more information by Thursday, 2023-06-29 00:00 US/Pacific.

Diagnosis: Affected Customers in europe-west2 are unable to update their Chronicle configuration. Affected customers globally will not be able to setup GCP log injection.

Workaround: None at this time.
