Incident affecting Google Cloud Support

We're experiencing an issue with gcloud auth application-default login.

Incident began at 2020-10-22 18:08 and ended at 2020-10-22 20:11 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with gcloud is believed to be affecting a very small number of users and our Engineering Team is working on it.

If you have questions or are impacted, please open a case with the Support Team and we will work with you until this issue is resolved.

Diagnosis: Customers may receive 'Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app' when running 'gcloud auth application-default login'.

Workaround: 1. Get in touch with your Google Workspace (formerly GSuite) administrator 2. Visit https://support.google.com/a/answer/7281227 3. Follow the "Manage access to apps: Trusted, Limited, or Blocked" method 4. Add '764086051850-6qr4p6gpi6hn506pt8ejuq83di341hur.apps.googleusercontent.com' as a trusted Client ID. 5. Retry your 'gcloud auth application-default login' operation within a few minutes.
