Recommendation AI & Vertex AI Search for Retail are experiencing increased delays in data indexing (p90 delay was up to ~10 hours).

The issue with Vertex AI Search, Recommendation AI has been resolved for all affected users as of Monday, 2024-12-09 21:48 US/Pacific.

Summary: Recommendation AI & Vertex AI Search for Retail are experiencing increased delays in data indexing (p90 delay was up to ~10 hours).

Description: We are experiencing an issue with Vertex AI Search for Retail, Recommendation AI beginning on Monday, 2024-12-09 09:30 US/Pacific. Mitigation work is currently underway by our engineering team.

We do not have an ETA for mitigation at this point.

We will provide more information by Tuesday, 2024-12-10 10:00 US/Pacific.

Diagnosis: The affected customers would be presented with some stale data in the search responses if there was a document update request during this issue.

Workaround: None at this time.
