Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) is experiencing intermittent timeout errors during GKE cluster creation and deletion in all regions.

Incident began at 2019-01-23 11:56 and ended at 2019-01-23 14:43 (all times are US/Pacific).

The issue with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) experiencing intermittent timeout errors during GKE cluster creation and deletion in all regions has been resolved for all affected projects as of Wednesday, 2019-01-23 13:42 US/Pacific. We will continue monitoring GKE for any potential recurrence of the issue, but no further updates will be provided at this time. We will conduct an internal investigation of this issue and make appropriate improvements to our systems to help prevent or minimize future recurrence.

We are experiencing an intermittent issue with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) cluster creation & deletion operations timing out in all regions beginning at Wednesday, 2019-01-23 11:29 US/Pacific. Google Engineers are currently investigating the root cause and attempting to mitigate the issue. Existing GKE clusters remain unaffected. For everyone who is affected, we apologize for the disruption. We will provide an update by Wednesday, 2019-01-23 13:45 US/Pacific with current details.
